Office

Rheumatology

Joints, bones and autoimmune diseases. Joint ultrasound and injections.

Overview

About the office

The rheumatologist treats diseases of the joints and muscles, as well as autoimmune diseases. Joint ultrasound at the clinic allows inflammation to be seen directly and, when needed, an intra-articular injection can be given under ultrasound guidance.

Frequently asked questions

What should I bring to my visit?

Your previous tests and exams (a phone copy is fine), a list of the medicines you take with their doses, and your ID card.

Can I have the exams on the same day?

Yes, in most cases: joint ultrasound and intra-articular injection are done during the same visit, so the result can be interpreted right away.

How can I book?

Do I need to come fasting?

Only if you are having blood tests such as blood glucose and a lipid profile, or an abdominal ultrasound. It is not needed for a routine visit.
